This entry finds my sitting in the airport on the beginning of a 27 hour travel day. Sometimes I wish I actually had 27 hours in a day. Anyway, this week has been very interesting. On Friday, we had lots of excitement finding John's training in Ireland had been approved. Unfortunately, for us it was already Saturday in Ireland, so we had to wait all the way until Monday to find out more.
Meanwhile, Saturday the family flew to Cordova for a swim meet. All four of our swimmers competed and they all did great. Everyone dropped time up to 25-30 seconds in some instances. Finally, Monday came and then Tuesday and we finally knew our itinerary. We were very excited but had a lot more things to accomplish before we could think of packing.
You see last week we started remodeling. We are improving the sheetrock in the kids bedrooms as well as painting them and down stairs we are building a new family room and three new closets. It has been an experience seeing all the white dust on my black stairs. Everyones bed was affected as well as every room and the temperature of our house itself. Everyone's sleeping time has been affected. Everyone has seemed to hold up. As it always seems to happen in my life everything happens at once.
Wednesday and Thursday found my friend Kim and I painting ceilings, primer on new walls and finally color. Then buying new paint because our colors were slightly too vibrant for the white primer underneath. We finally finished after two days of hard work and by the night of the second day we were moving the beds from my living room and the dressers and bookshelves from my bedroom.
I can't believe I made out of there in one piece so here I am again.... waiting ........more later.

Tell us more about this training. I am jealous.
Also, did the remodel take out the kitchen downstairs? Did Millie move downstairs yet?
I left an earlier comment about your Ireland trip asking why you got to go! Now I see why. I'm still so super jealous. It looks amazing. How do you keep up with everything? Wow! So do you have all your rooms finished yet?
